Camp John Hay’s The MANOR to honor Filipino Easter Traditions

The MANOR at Camp John Hay honors the timeless Easter traditions that Filipinos look forward to this time of year.

Celebrate the Savior’s triumphant entry to Jerusalem with Palm Sunday Mass marking the beginning of Jesus’ journey to the Cross on March 20, 2016, from 6:00 to 7:00 a.m. at 19th T at The Forest Lodge.

Colorful plants, flowers and butterflies at Flora and Fauna at the Rock Garden; Bunny and Chick Barn, Kiddie Park, The Manor Water Fight, and Kiddie Cooking Class, all happening at The Manor Garden; Easter Funland featuring CandyVille Experiences and FarmVille Adventures for only P200 for kids and P50 for adults.

The annual Easter Egg Hunt happens on March 27, Sunday, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at The Manor Garden for only P750 per person (adult/kid), inclusive of Egg Hunt, Picnic Lunch, Games, Magic Show and Easter Loot Bags.

Exquisite cuisine complements the annual Easter activites at Chef Billy King’s culinary haven, Le Chef at The ManorDaily Breakfast Buffet from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. for only P720 net per adult and P360 net for kids 5 to 10 years old. Merienda Buffet is available on March 24 to 27, from 2:00 to 5:30 p.m. at The Manor Garden, for only P380 net per adult and P220 net for kids 5 to 10 years old.  On Maundy Thursday, Le Chef offers a Lunch Buffet from 12:00 noon to 2:30 p.m. for only P880 net per adult and P440 net for kids 5 to 10 years old; Dinner Buffet is from 6:30 to 10:00 p.m. for only P1,200 net per adult and P600 net for kids 5 to 10 years old.  Seafood Extravaganza is offered on Good Friday with Lunch and Dinner Buffet; Back to the international buffet spread for Lunch and Dinner on Black Saturday for the same rates.

An extra special Easter Lunch Buffet is prepared to celebrate the Risen Lord on Easter Sunday, March 27, from 12:00 to 2:30 p.m. for only P950 net per adult and P475 net for kids 5 to 10 years old.  Dinner Ala Carte is available from 6:00 to 11:00 p.m.

Participate in the Visita Iglesia, a traditional Maundy Thursday act of penance to visit 7 churches around the city on March 24 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. for only P 2,100 per shuttle with a tour guide, inclusive of pack snacks that are available upon request for a minimum of 2 persons and a maximum of 8 persons.
