MANILA – Four armed men robbed employees of a South Star Drug store in Barangay Pulang Lupa 2, Las Piñas early Monday.
Closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage shows two suspects sauntering to the cashier and pharmacist, then holding them at gunpoint.
The suspects made the two women lie face down, bound their hands and plastered tape over their mouths.
Two other suspects armed with knives took the unloaded firearm of security guard Fernando Velasco. He was also tied up and left lying face down.
The robbers carted away some P6,000 cash, cellphones and bags from the victims.
Velasco told police that the suspects made repeated trips to the store a few hours before the incident.
There was no customer inside the store when the heist occurred.
Police are still preparing an artist sketch of the suspects.
The management of South Star Drug Store declined to issue a statement on the incident.
