Lamudi, the Philippines’ leading online real estate platform, has recently hosted The Outlook 2018 gala dinner and awards presentation at Makati Shang-ri La last November 15, 2018. For its second year, The Outlook 2018, co-presented by Philippine Daily Inquirer Property, once again recognized the best real estate developers and projects in the past year.
Lamudi Co-Founder and CEO, Kian Moini, opened the evening’s gathering. The gala also served as an opportunity for discussion and knowledge sharing as it hosted keynote speakers from the industry. Secretary Benjamin Diokno of the Department of Budget and Management discussed the Economic and Investment Outlook of the Philippines. Meanwhile, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Deputy Governor Diwa Guinigundo, put the spotlight on the Real Estate Boom in the Philippines. The third and final keynote speaker of the night, Ambassador Jose Santiago L. Sta. Romana, Philippine Ambassador to China, explored the Philippine-China Relations, particularly the prospects and perspectives between the two countries and what is in store for the Philippine real estate sector.
The keynote speeches followed into the awards segment of the evening. The awards were presented based on the extensive property seeker survey conducted by Lamudi. Winners of the Grand Awards were also invited for a short Q&A session on stage. Bhavna Suresh, Lamudi Philippines CEO, officially capped the night off with her closing remarks.
Property seeker survey
As a trailblazer in helping Filipino property seekers shift from traditional to digital property discovery, Lamudi has amassed a wealth of data to dive deep into the needs and preferences of the ever-changing real estate market.
This was the rationale behind enlisting the survey participation of 10,000 property seekers. The respondents of the survey were classified based on their search interests and were surveyed for categories that are relevant to them to ensure tailor-fitted results.
