Senatorial Candidate Roman T. Romulo today expressed disbelief  with what happened at NAIA Terminal 3 which experienced several hours of brownout to the prejudice and inconvenience of the public.

“I am appalled by the fact that NAIA 3 had no contingency or back up plan for such an event. It has shown the highest level of incompetence and lack of foresight on the part of the DOTC who had all but declared they would take a direct hand in running our airports, its shameful to say the least, said Romulo.

With the consistent breakdowns of the MRT and now blackout in the biggest airport terminal of this country, heads should roll. The Filipino people expect and deserve that, added Romulo.

This event lead us to further push for the enactment of an Airline Passenger Bill of Rights that is directed to impose liabilities not only toward airlines but also to our government.
